The following document is an interim progress report on mid-field monitoring work at the FORCE site from May 2016 up to June 30th, 2017. The 2016-2017 EEM program completed approximately 175 hours of fish surveys, ten-months of marine mammal monitoring, 16 seabird surveys, bi-weekly beach surveys, and four marine noise surveys. Monitoring activity continued in Q2 2017 (April 1- June 30) and continued through the calendar year. At the publication date of this report, two new reports on fish and marine mammals were under review by FORCE’s environmental monitoring advisory committee (EMAC)1; an additional seabird report was expected shortly. 
 
The document contains operational summaries from third-party researchers; however, conclusions and analysis will require longer-term data sets.
