The approximately 3,000-square foot facility houses interpretive exhibits, interactive displays, a small theatre/community room, as well as space for onsite meetings and research work. The modular building’s sustainable features include passive solar heat gain in winter, high performance glazing and solar shading to help cooling in summer, and storm water drainage and control.
FORCE is located in the Bay of Fundy, in the province of Nova Scotia, on Canada’s Atlantic Coast.
