In 2015, the Minister of Energy approved two new technologies to demonstrate their tidal stream technologies at FORCE. Simultaneously, the Minister also approved the revised project plans of the two existing berth   holders. Also under consideration at  FORCE was the creation of a fifth berth site within FORCE’s existing  Crown Lease Area.   
    
With this addendum, FORCE sought to amend its EA approval from the four single device project plans of 2010 to the five small-scale demonstration arrays of devices that were planned by FORCE berth holders.
