At Net Zero Atlantic, we're helping Atlantic Canada move toward a more sustainable energy future by producing credible and objective data. We're a team of scientists, engineers and program managers driven to use our skills and experience to respond to climate change. In addition to providing direct support to projects, we also work with other experts when needed. We coordinate research and projects that will decarbonize Atlantic Canada's economy and mitigate climate change impacts by 2050.
We lead applied research in critical areas that include, but are not limited to, hydrogen, offshore wind, geothermal energy, tidal power, and energy system modeling, which promote the growth of a sustainable energy sector. By drawing on the knowledge, skills, and expertise of academia, industry, government, Indigenous partners, as well as other diverse and equity-minded communities, we leverage our strong network of researchers, innovators, and experts in our region and around the world to reduce climate change's impact by 2050.
