This study produced system designs for in-stream tidal energy devices, performance estimates, cost estimates and economic assessments for one site/device per state/province.

This scoping effort was intended to provide the information needed by funding decision makers to decide whether or not to proceed to the next phase of work: detailed design, permitting and financing.
