The purpose of this study was to monitor lobster catchability within the FORCE Crown Lease Area. Lobster catchability was represented as catch per unit effort (CPUE), or catch per trap, which functioned as a proxy measure for population density of lobster. 

Surveying prior to the TISEC turbine deployment established initial data which could then be used for future comparison with lobster catchability during periods of turbine deployment, assessing the level of impact specific technology may have on lobster catchability.
