Who is FORCE?
The Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy (FORCE) is a co-op of some of the world’s leading researchers, scientists, developers and regulators who are committed to explore the potential of a cleaner, renewable source of energy – straight from the Bay of Fundy, in Nova Scotia’s backyard.We are the first stage of what may become a new marine energy industry in Canada - through demonstration and research at our test centre in the Minas Passage. We test tidal energy devices, and we measure their effects, if any, on the environment.
