Imagine the power of the highest tides in the world.
Imagine the technology to harness it.

Welcome to FORCE, the Fundy Ocean Research Center for Energy. FORCE is Canada’s leading research centre for in-stream tidal energy, located in the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia.
The Bay of Fundy pushes about 160 billion tonnes of water every tide - more than all the freshwater rivers and streams in the world combined. This creates exciting conditions for developers, researchers, and the public to better understand the potential of in-stream tidal technology to deliver clean, renewable power for generations to come.
